American actors Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear are all set to invoke the politically influential Koch brothers in the final season of television series House of Cards.

The duo will play Annette Shepherd and Bill Shepherd, the siblings who run Shepherd Unlimited, which Netflix describes as "a leading industrial conglomerate whose family foundations exert a powerful behind-the-scenes force in the American political landscape," reported Variety.

The phrase 'Koch brothers' generally refers to the sons of American chemical engineer Fred C. Koch. The most politically active sons are Charles Koch and David H. Koch, who are known for using their vast fortune to support conservative candidates and causes, giving them enormous influence in American politics.

The production of the final season resumed after Kevin Spacey's from the show in February this year.

The final season is scheduled to release on November 2, this year.
