‘Why do people think I am the reason behind Divya-Priyank’s breakup?’ lashes out Benafsha Soonawalla
MTV VJ and ex Bigg Boss 11 contestant Benafsha Soonawalla is quite upset on being blamed for the break up of former Splitsvilla contestants Priyank Sharma and Divya Agarwal. During Thursday night's episode of Bigg Boss 11, Priyank's ex girlfriend Divya went inside the Bigg Boss house and told him that she has parted her ways with him.
The news isn't new to the fans as Divya had publicly broken up with Priyank, and announced the same on several new channels after she saw him and Benafsha getting cozy on BB11. When Divya went inside the glass walled house and spoke to Priyank, he couldn't control his emotions despite being in the 'freeze' mode, as tears rolled down his eyes. Divya also mentions that she wouldn't like to take names but advised him not to take the help of girls in the show as he's strong enough to survive on his own.
Clearly, Divya was pretty upset with Priyank and Ben's close proximity inside the house but when the folks at BollywoodLife got in touch with Benafsha, she lashed out saying, "Why do people think I am the only reason why Divya has broken up with Priyank. Once I came out, I spoke to Divya. We are not best friends but we spoke well. She told me, Ben, it’s not your fault. Divya’s main problem is that her name has not been mentioned by Priyank as she expected it to be. He has been mentioning other girls. She is like, why is my name not being taken. He is talking about this and that girl. Priyank’s statements are changing by the day. Honestly, I don’t know much about the relationship they share or shared. Last night, he told Hina (Khan) that they broke up before he went inside. I don’t think Divya was rude. I felt she was pretty polite. Yes, she was hurt. Perhaps it was not the occasion to break up. I feel it was a little too early."
She added that she feels Divya should have waited for Priyank to come out of the show and talk to her, just like she had to explain to a lot of people that what they saw wasn't the actual thing. Ben also shared that nobody knows what happens in the uncut footage.
