Erica Fernandes denies fainting on the sets of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', thanks fans for their wishes

The shooting of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' was reportedly brought to an abrupt halt after Erica Fernandes, who plays Prerna on the show, fainted on the sets. According to a report in SpotboyeE.com, Erica was shooting for KZK 2 at the Klick Nixon studios (Andheri) with Parth Samthaan. And, just before the scene was about to start, she fainted. 

After resting in her vanity van for a while, Erica returned to the sets and resumed shooting. An eye-witness provided a full account of the incident to the portal: “Erica was unwell ever since she reached the set. She wanted to finish her work and get back home soon. Erica couldn’t take a day off from work because of broadcast issues. However, her health did not support the exertion and she fainted while shooting.” 

However, turns out the portal went a little over board in their attempt to spice up the story. While Erica thanked fans for their concern, she also clarified that she did not faint on the sets, as reported. She shared a picture on her Instagram story and wrote, "Thanks for all the concern shown towards me. Means a lot. Just wanted to clarify that, *Touchwood* I have never fainted till date, have just been unwell but I am recovering and will be well soon..." - (sic)

Ekta Kapoor’s popular TV show, 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' returned to the small screen with a second season, with Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu and Erica Fernandes essaying the role of Prerna Sharma (earlier portrayed by Shweta Tiwari). The show also marks Hina Khan's return to the fictional space. She plays Komolika in the show.
