Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri's new show The Drama Company finally aired on Sony TV. While the new comedy show promised a lot before it went on air, the first episode itself failed to impress the masses as it could barely make them laugh.

The entire episode was set in the form of a skit/drama where Krushna, Sudesh, Sudangha Mishra and others recreated the iconic Mughal-E-Azam. The skit, though a little funny, didn't have any fresh appeal to it as the concept has already been used on a number of other shows as well.

The team of Munna Michael including Tiger Shroff, Nidhhi Agerwal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui graced the first episode of the show to promote their film, but there were times when they seemed disinterested owing to the use of done-to-death jokes. Though, there wasn't any vulgarity in the humour, but the jokes were stale and hence, failed to ignite any kind of laughter from the audience.

Riddhima Pandit did try to uplift the show for a few moments but that was it. The fans were left rather disappointed as they expected more original content and humour which was clearly lacking in the first episode of the show.
