The two got hitched in a hush hush affair in Delhi in the presence of family and with only Nisha Rawal and husband Karan Mehra representing the TV industry.
Bigg Boss 10 contestant surely took us by surprise. The newlywed actor has finally decided to announce his wedding on Instagram and in the most subtle way possible. The groom shared a picture of himself from where he can be seen sitting in the chariot in baraat. Accompanied by his cute little nephew, Gaurav looked dapper in a white sherwani and maroon velvet shawl over his shoulder. The actor captioned, " There you go! Seeking your love n blessings.."
But we got lucky and managed to get more pictures from Gaurav Chopra's big fat Punjabi wedding in Delhi.
According to TOI report, the two have known each other since two years. After an year of delay because his mother had not been keeping well, the two exchanged rings on Valentine’s Day. Gaurav joked about the cliche date and said, “Well, it’s easy to remember the date that way. Gaali nahi padegi kyunki I won’t forget the day.”
Gaurav even explained why he didn't announce his wedding and chose to surprise his fans. The actor told TOI, “I have never hidden my relationships. I have gone to the world holding my beloved’s hand, but with time, I realised that it backfires. I am a private person now. The marriage was purely dedicated to my family. It was as traditional as it could get with me on a chariot in my baraat. I followed all the rituals as I was told. Main ek achhe bete ki tarah sab karta raha. Given a choice, I would have preferred a destination wedding, but it was always supposed to be a close-knit affair. It’s more of an arranged match and I fell for Hitisha’s simplicity.”
Unlike, Gaurav's ex-flames Mouni Roy and Narayani Shastri, Hitisha has no acting aspirations. His bride hails from Bangalore and has recently joined Vogue. Previously she has worked as a fashion consultant with Christian Dior Couture. Hitisha did her Bachelor in Business Administration from Lancaster University, in United Kingdom. After that,she did her MBA in Luxury Brand Management from the French university,International Fashion Academy in Paris
