Dance India Dance 6 Grand Finale: Sanket Gaonkar emerges as the winner of DID 6

Finally! Season 6 of Zee TV's popular dance reality show Dance India Dance has come to a spectacular end and Karnataka based Sanket Gaonkar has emerged as the winner of DID 6. Sanket is a self-taught dancer with immense about of talent and his forte is contemporary style of dancing. The passionate dancer found a place in Mini Ke Masterblaster team after getting selected in the Mumbai auditions of the TV show. 

Throughout the season, Sanket not only managed to impress his immediate mentor Mini Pradhan, but also won the hearts of the other judges, including Mudassar Khan, Marzi Pestonji and the Grand Master Mithun Chakraborty. The other finalists were Sachin Sharma, Piyush Gurbhele, Nainika Anasuru and Shivam Wankhede. 

Dance India Dance, which first went on air in the year 2009, has become one of the top dance reality shows of the country. The platform of DID has given some incredible talent and dancers to the industry and is hence quite popular as well. Apart from the winner's trophy, Sanket also walked away with the prize money of Rs 5 lakh.

After winning Dance India Dance season 6, Sanket told BollywoodLife, "I worked hard to come on this show for six years. I have regularly watched all the seasons and learned dancing from it. This is a huge platform and I cannot say how happy I am.” Sanket also dedicated his victory to his mother and expressed how supportive his father has been in his journey.
