The moment has finally come and Shilpa Shinde has been crowned as the winner of Bigg Boss 11 and she has won Rs 44 lakh as the prize money. The popular TV actress, best remembered for her stint as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai, entered the Salman Khan show in October 2017 alongside her arch rival, TV producer Vikas Gupta. While Vikas ended up at the third spot, Hina Khan, the other finalist finished up at the position of the first runner up.
Shilpa Shinde's popularity has soared high on social media platforms. Many a times, her fans were seen at loggerheads with the fans of Hina Khan. A number of Twitter war of words have been witnessed in the duration of this season with Shilpa's fans winning the battle most of the times. Shilpa has been nominated for evictions most of the times, barring three or four weeks in the past three months but her fans made sure that she gets saved and becomes one of the finalists. Many a times, Shilpa was also seen saying that she has faith in her fans, on the show which was also seen as an excuse for not performing the tasks and being overconfident at times.
Shilpa's journey in the Bigg Boss house has been full of ups and downs. While in the initial few weeks, she made life hell for Vikas Gupta, and left no stone unturned in victimizing him for allegedly making her leave her previous show. But later on, they decided to burry the hatchet and became cordial on the show.
While Shilpa was ininitally friends with Arshi Khan and Akash Dadlani, who would support shilpa at all times, her equation with both of them also kept on changing. While towards the end, Shilpa became friendly with Arshi once again, her equation with Akash didn't go back to what it was before. Shilpa even cared for these two along with Puneesh the most in the glass walled house, because of which she was given the title of the 'Maa' of the house.
A number of times Hina Khan, Vikas and others brought to light that she doesn't get involved in the tasks so much, but only pays attention to the chores in the kitchen, making food for everyone. During th press conference, Puneesh had come to her rescue, saying that Shilpa has become like a housewife, who does everything but never gets her due.
The episode in which Shilpa's mother visited the Bigg Boss house is undoubtedly one of the most emotional episodes of Bigg Boss 11. While Shilpa has shown a range of emotions on the show, from anger to her funny side, she has definitely managed to win the hearts of her fans and has left behind Hina Khan to become the winner of season 11 of Bigg Boss.
