'Bigg Boss' is known for its contestants engaging in verbal spats, loud arguments, using abusive language and making accusations on each other. And this 'masala entertainment' format of the show is apparently what is liked by the audiences keeping in mind that the show has a huge fan base. And so, not a day goes by in the 'Bigg Boss 14' house without someone not shouting on another for a petty matter or levelling some accusation or another.

Leading the charge in the latest episode of controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss 14', was television star Pavitra Punia, who went all out accusing playback singer Rahul Vaidya of misogyny and calling him 'neech'.

It all began when Pavitra found out from Nikki Tamboli, Nishant Singh Malkhani and Jaan Kumar Sanu that Rahul had made a remark on her stating that she had a "crush" on fellow housemate Abhinav Shukla, who is accompanied by wife Rubina Dilaik on the show.

Upon hearing the statement passed by Rahul, Pavitra lost control and got into a heated argument with him. She confronted the singer in front of all the housemates and asked him to stop passing judgements and making derogatory comments about her character.

Pavitra took the fight one step further and accused Rahul of misogyny while calling him 'neech' during the verbal brawl.

She said, “Tumhare jaise mard hote hain jo auraton pe lanchhan lagaate hain (men like you accuse women and raise questions on a woman's character without knowing anything).” " Tumhare jaise mardo ki wajah se ghar toot jaatey hain (because of men like you, several households are broken)."

The argument between the two turned ugly when Rahul too retorted to Pavitra and asked her to mind her own business, not tell him when and how to speak and also not "threaten" him.

And even between all the shouting and yelling from Pavitra, while Rahul was calm, he refused to take back his statement and apologise to her.

Earlier in the show, during the 'Jaan Bachi toh Lakhon Paye' task, Pavitra got into a verbal spat with Eijaz Khan when she refused to agree with him that Rubina had left last from the dollhouse in the first round of the task, which was executed to select the first captain of the house, in accordance with the instructions given by Bigg Boss. As per Pavitra, it was Abhinav who left last.

The task required each contestant to pick dolls from a temporary house set-up in the garden area. They were supposed to save one another by picking not their own but someone else's doll, and the one who left last from the house with a doll in hand, that person whose face was depicted on the doll would be disqualified from the captaincy race.

When the task was executed, while Abhinav picked Jasmin Bhasin's doll, Rubina had Abhinav's in her hand.

Taking this into consideration, Rahul had made a statement that Pavitra was trying to save Abhinav because she had a crush on him.
