Salman Khan, during the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 14, remembered legendary singer SP Balasubrahmanyam. The singer, who was the voice of the superstar in the 90s passed away on September 25, 2020. On the show, Rahul Vaidya, who is one of the Bigg Boss 2020 contestants crooned 'Mere Rang Mein' from Salman's debut film in leading role Maine Pyar Kiya. The playback singing was done by SPB and it went on to become one of the best songs ever.

After Rahul's performance, Salman remembered the legendary singer and said that he will always be grateful to him for all the songs he sang for him back in the days. The Dabangg star also mentioned that he is standing there because of SPB and his soulful voice.

Back on September 24, when Khan heard about SPB's deteriorating health, he had tweeted, "Bala Subramaniam sir. All the strength, hope, wishes from the bottom of my heart to a speedy recovery. And thank you for every song you sang for me and made special. Your 'Dil Deewana' hero Prem. Love you, sir."

After hearing about the singer's demise, Salman tweeted, "Heartbroken to hear about #SPBalasubrahmanyam sir... you will forever live on in your undisputed legacy of music! condolence to the family #RIP".

For the uninitiated, SPB has lent his voice for Salman in the movies namely Maine Pyar Kiya, Saajan, Patthar Ke Phool, Hum Aapke Hain Koun and Andaz Apna Apna

Talking about Bigg Boss 14, Rahul also performed on other songs of Salman including 'Dil Diyan Gallan'.
