'Bigg Boss 12' October 26, 2018 Written Update: Deepak is the new captain, Sreesanth throws a fit on going to kaalkothri

Day 39 of Bigg Boss 12 begins 8: 30 pm when Surbhi Rana tells Somi Khan and Romil Chaudhary that Srishty Rode and Dipika Kakar keep on bitching about each other and at times they become friendly to each other. On the other hand, Dipika Kakar and Srishty Rode are are wodnering why do others have a problem if the two of them are friendly now, even though they weren’t before.

In the train, Jasleen Matharu gives Deepak Thakur chillies to eat as part of the captaincy task.  Deepak eats them with quite a lot of difficulty.  Around 10 pm, Rohit Suchanti gives a glass filled with Tobasco sauce to Megha Dhade. Deepak and others say that this isn’t done. Megha says she’s already had wasabi and ginger etc so it doesn’t matter and that she’s going to drink it.

Deepak, Shivashish Mishra and others also say that it’s not done and that Rohit shouldn’t do this to her. Rohit says that she can give up if she wants. Megha and Deepak have a fight. Deepak says that he will drink it, but Megha says that he shouldn’t get into her fights and drinks the tobacco sauce. Next, Romil gives her bitter gourd juice, which she drinks again. She throws up soon after.  

Shiv and others, all cheer for Megha’s performance. Megha is in a lot of pain and she starts crying as she couldn’t bear the pain any more. Sreesanth, Dipika, Saba, Shiv and others all try to convince her to give up as she has already done the impossible by performing so brilliantly in the task and that she should give her health the priority. Megha says if she gives up now, all her efforts will go waste and that if she can have a little water, she will be fine. She drinks a little water and continues with the task. Deepak says that he will not give up, no matter what.

Jasleen tells Urvashi that Megha deserves to win as Deepak has been telling everyone that they should not give him bitter gourd juice whereas Megha hasn’t said NO to anything till now. On the other hand, Srishty tells Rohit that she is disappointed in him as he didn’t play for himself in the BB Farm task, citing  Megha as an example.

Megha asks Deepak to give up and let her win, Deepak says he won’t. Megha tells Romil that she can give up on the condition that nobody will nominate her till the time she’s in the house and that they all will support her for the captaincy the next time. Romil speaks to Surbhi and Saba about the conditions, Surbhi doesn’t agree. Romil tells the same to Megha. Megha cracks the deal with Karanvir Bohra, Romil, Deepak and Saba and comes out of the train. Deepak becomes the new Captain of the house.

Late night at 3am, Deepak tells Surbhi that Sreesanth has started talking to him because of the task and that he will talk to Sree if he comes and speaks to him. Deepak further says that while Romil and Surbhi are visibly happy on him being the captain, he didn’t see any sort of happiness on Urvashi’s face.

On day 40, the housemates wake up to Mohabbat hai Mirchi. At 9;30 am, Shiv and Anup Jalota are having a discussion about whether they will support Deepak during his tenure as a captain. Anup tells him that 8 members of the house are not going to work with Deepak as the Captain. The same is discussed by KV, Dipika and Srishty .

Deepak tells Sree that nobody will come in the bedroom to listen to him. Sree says that he should tell them to come inside with authority as he’s the Captain of the house.

In the garden, Anup, Dipika, KV, Shiv, Srishty and Urvashi decide that they will not do any household work as decided by Deepak. Sree tells Shiv that he’s only saying on Deepak’s face that he will work for today, but he won’t from tomorrow. Shiv is in two minds as Sree hasn’t made it clear if he’s against Deepak or not.

In the bedroom, Deepak is trying to give out the duties to the housemates. Shiv disagrees with Deepak and leaves the room. Urvashi Vani says that she won’t do any chores if Deepak doesn’t give her the bathroom duties. In the bathroom, Urvashi and Jasleen are discussing that they’re miffed with Sree because he didn’t stick to the plan of boycotting Deepak’s captaincy. In the kitchen, Dipika says that the biggest problem with Deepak in the house is that he does what Romil tells him to do and doesn’t have a mind of his own to play.

In the garden area, Dipika, Anup and Sree try to tell Deepak that how he treats and speaks to Urvashi isn’t right. Dipika walks out and goes inside the bedroom and tells Urvashi that they were trying to speak sense into Deepak. She gets teary while talking to her.

Surbhi is taunting Jasleen with Saba’s help in the kitchen over the previous day’s incident, saying that Surbhi is mental and has come from a mental asylum. Jasleen overhears and tells about the same to Srishty.

Rohit, Sreesanth and Romil are discussing who they will send to the kaalkothri. In the garden, Jasleen breaks down while speaking with Anup, about the taunts of the rest of the housemates. Anup asks her to stay strong and not cry. He then says that she looks even more beautiful when she cries.

In the afternoon, Kaalkothri punishment is announced by Bigg Boss. This time the kaalkothri punishment won’t be decided by majority votes but there’s a twist. After sometime, the doors to the confession room will be opened for a while and the first three contestants to enter will be able to nominate one contestant each to go to jail.  Saba, Shivashish and Rohit are the first three to enter.  Shiv nominates Romil, Saba nominates Shiv and Rohit nominates Sree for Kaalkothri punishment.

In the evening around 4 pm, Megha points out to Deepak that the utensils haven’t been washed after lunch. Sree is upset.

Later, Bigg Boss gives Deepak a special privilege to replace onecontestant  out of Shiv, Sree and Romil with anyone else to be sent to the jail. Deepak saves Romil and sends Jasleen to the Kaalkothri because she said that Surbhi has come from mental asylum during the luxury budget task. Jasleen tries to defend herself but in vain.

Sree walks out from the living area, tells Bigg Boss that he won’t go to jail. Jasleen and Surbhi have a verbal spat over the kind of abuses that Surbhi has hurled at housemates which are much bigger reasons why Surbhi should be sent to jail rather than Jasleen saying ‘paagal’.

Meanwhile, Deepak tries to convince Sreesanth to go to jail, Sree doesn’t agree saying that he hasn’t made any mistake nor has he fought with anyone in the past week, so he won’t go to jail. Deepak goes to Shiv and asks him to convince Sree to go to jail. Shiv says he won’t. Jasleen also starts shouting on Deepak and says that her saying paagal is a lesser wrong than Surbhi saying the F word or Saba breaking the plate.

In the washroom, Sree again says that he won’t go to jail repeating his reasons to Shiv. Shiv gives the idea to Sree that he should go inside and then later come out of it and if Deepak won’t be able to stop him, then it’s Deepak’s mistake. Sree agrees to go to the kaalkothri.

Around 8 pm, Sree tells Bigg Boss that it’s a sh*t show and the way they are being treated is not justified. He also takes out his mic in protest. Bigg Boss asks him to wear his mic. Jasleen keeps his mic on his lap. Deepak also tells him to wear his mic. Sree says that he isn’t speaking with anyone and that he will wear the mic only if and when he wishes to speak to someone.

Around 8 pm, Saba tells Sree that he was wrong on showing the middle finger to Surbhi, Sree tries to justify himself about Surbhi. Surbhi overhears and starts shouting on Sree. At 9: 30, Somi says that she feels that Srishty tries to impress him at times, Rohit says he feels the same. Somi says that some instances like how she got dressed up and got ready the very next day after Rohit’s entry and started giving explanations even when nobody asked her, make it evident that Srishty likes him.  Late at night, Sreesanth tries to escape from the kaalkothri. The episode comes to an end.
