Deepak Thakur returns the jail keys to S Sreesanth. Bigg Boss announces that the contestants will get to watch videos from their family members on the occasion of Diwali.
Bigg Boss calls Karanvir Bohra, Shivashish Mishra and Surbhi Rana in the activity area after making them hear small voice notes from Shivashish's sister and Surbhi's mother.
He informs them that only one of them will get to watch the full video. Surbhi and Karanvir take Shivashish's name considering his mental state. However, Shivashish decides to give the chance to Surbhi seeing her tears.
She gets overwhelmed seeing her mother's video. She comes out and says sorry to Shivashish and Karanvir. Karanvir also gets emotional seeing his family's photo-frames and tells Bigg Boss that what he is doing is not fair.
Bigg Boss makes them hear voice notes from Somi Khan's mother, Jasleen Matharu's father and Megha Dhade's daughter. He calls them inside the activity area. Somi and Megha take Jasleen's name. Jasleen gets emotional seeing her family's video message. She comes out and thanks Somi and Megha.
Among Rohit Suchanti, Sreesanth and Deepak - Deepak gets to watch his family's video. Dipika Kakar starts crying as soon as she hears Shoaib Ibrahim's voice. Bigg Boss calls Dipika, Romil Choudhary and Srishty Rode inside the activity room. The ladies take Romil's name considering he is a father. He requests Bigg Boss if he can call someone else on his behalf.
Romil takes Somi's name and says that he can't see her like this. He says his family is always with him but he knows Somi is broken inside. Bigg Boss agrees and asks him to call her. Somi gets emotional watching her family's video and comes out and thanks Romil.
Romil goes out and apologizes to Dipika and Srishty and request them not to take it otherwise. Both Dipika and Srishty say they understand his decision while Shivashish Mishra says he should have consulted with them.
Karanvir tells Srishty that Romil has won him over with his move. He says he is sure it must not have been an easy thing to do for Romil. Somi tells Romil that no one has ever done something so special for her, before this.
Deepak comes and tells Romil that he should have done this for Somi. He jokingly says that he would have totally managed without his parents' video. Romil and Rohit die laughing. Romil sees Somi and tells her that it was originally Deepak's idea. She refuses to believe him.
Astrologer Sanjay Jumani enters the house. He tells Romil that he sees him in top 5 and appreciates Karanvir and Dipika's game. Sreesanth asks him if he will ever be able to return to cricket to which Sanjay says that he must be practical and stick to the creative industry.
Srishty confronts Rohit and asks him if he has ever told anyone that she is in the house only because of him. He denies. She asks him if he is sure. He recalls hearing it from someone. Srishty asks him if it was Sreesanth. He agrees. She says no one can be trusted in this house.
The contestants let their hair down for some time as Bigg Boss plays party songs for them. Surbhi tells Romil, Somi and Deepak that there are more chances of her and Romil getting evicted this week as people like to watch love-angles.
