Here's all that happened in tonight's episode of Bigg Boss 12...
After the housemates wake up, Romil Chaudhary and Megha Dhade are sitting in the garden area. Romil says he just jokes around with Megha and doesn’t mean to hurt her when he teases her with her winner tag. Megha says that her Bigg Boss Marathi winner tag is her pride and she’ll hit back if he tries to hurt her pride. He then asks whom is she supporting for captaincy. She makes it clear that she's not supporting him.
In the bedroom, Surbhi Rana is discussing about captaincy support with Rohit Suchanti. She says that Romil is trying to get Megha’s support for the captaincy task. She also tells him that she’ll support Shivashish Mishra in the captaincy task due to her tiff with Romil.
In the kitchen area, Megha and Romil are washing the dishes when Deepak Thakur tells Romil that he’ll get to know how many friends he has earned in the house today. Jasleen Matharu clearly tells Romil that she will support Shiv for captaincy since he’s her friend.
In the garden area, Somi Khan and Surbhi are discussing about whom to support. They end up having a mild argument and Somi leaves, saying that she’ll talk to Surbhi when her health is better. As soon as Somi walks away, Surbhi starts crying and saying that she wants to go home. Dipika Kakar and Megha come to console her. Surbhi walks out saying that she’s fed up. After some time, Surbhi comes to Somi and tells her that she need to talk to her, and takes her away.
Somi and Surbhi are talking. Somi tells Surbhi that her fight with Romil is disturbing her (Somi). Surbhi tries to justify her actions and tells her why she’s pissed off with Romil. She says that now, it’s a matter of her self-respect.
In the evening at 5: 30 pm, Dipika reads out the rules for the captaincy task TRP,to be held between Shiv and Romil. Both the contenders will have to run channels during the task and entertain the housemates. There will be three rounds – The first one will be a chat show to be done by both, the second round will be a dance off and the third one will be Infotainment round in which they will have to present their views as to why they are better than their opponent. Karanvir Bohra will be the sanchalak of the task.
Shivashish speaks with Surbhi and asks her to come with him for the first round. Surbhi agrees. Later Romil comes and speaks to her. Surbhi says that she has already promised Shiv, and she doesn’t share the same equation with him what she used to earlier. Romil tries to convince Surbhi to be his partner in the chat show, but she refuses.
Meanwhile, Shiv speaks to Srishty Rode for the dance round and Romil speaks with Jasleen. Romil speaks to Srishty to come with her for the chat show.
The first round begins. The first channel that the housemates watch is that of Shiv. Then in between, they all fight and switch to Romil’s channel. The rest of the housemates begin snatching and in the fight, the remote stops working. Bigg Boss calls all the housemates in the garden area.
Romil is sitting with Srishty when Surbhi passes by. Romil tells her that he still loves her, no matter what. He says that even Jasleen had made a promise but she broke it. Surbhi says that breaking promises is not her trait. Bigg Boss removes the entire set up of the captaincy task and the housemates speculate that the task has been cancelled.
At 7: 45 pm at night, the housemates sit in the living area. Bigg Boss announces that the task TRP for captaincy stands cancelled. Bigg Boss further says that considering Shiv and Romil’s hard work to be the contenders for captaincy, the captaincy is not being cancelled. Bigg Boss gives them a new task to win captaincy.
Dipika reads out the rules of the new task for captaincy. Two chairs are kept in the garden area for Shiv and Romil respectively. The two of them have to sit on the chairs till the other one gets up from the chair and leaves. The rest of the housemates have to torture that contender whom they don’t wish to see as the captain, to make them get up from the chair. Karanvir is the sanchalak of this task too.
The task begins and the housemates begin torturing the contenders. A big verbal spat takes place between Sreesanth and Deepak. Sree is supporting Shiv as Deepak tries to splash water on him. Megha, Dipika and Srishty too come in support of Shiv. Deepak and Sree have a fight again. Deepak, Somi, Rohit and Surbhi support Romil. Bigg Boss warns the housemates to be careful with the mics but they don’t pay heed so Bigg Boss prohibits them from using any form of liquid to torture the contenders.
Deepak smears Shiv with talcum powder. Rohit pours the garbage can on him. Rohit and Deepak further bring stale dal-rice, vegetables and fruit peels to pour on Shiv. Megha takes some garbage and puts it on Romil. The torture continues.
On the other hand, Deepak and Sree again have a huge verbal spat. Deepak comes to the kitchen to take eggs. Megha and Dipika say that eatables aren’t allowed since they are as per the head count. Deepak is adamant on getting the eggs while the Kitchen team doesn’t allow him to take them. Sree also comes and joins them in the kitchen.
Finally, Sree allows Deepak to use his eggs. Sree asks Deepak to use the eggs equally on both the contenders. Deepak tells Megha that he has got the eggs. Megha goes inside and brings an umbrella for protection. Meanwhile, Dipika makes some halwa and gives it to KV. KV is sitting in the garden area and eating it when Sree loses him calm over it. He finds it unfair for the sanchalak to eat halwa while a task is going on.
Around 1 am, Shiv is having a word with Dipika and Srishty and says that he’s considering getting up, citing health reasons. Dipika and Srishty tell him that nothing is more important than one’s health. In the bathroom area, Sree is crying inside the washroom and Dipika and Sristhy ask him to come out. Finally, when Sree comes out he’s still crying and says that he’s disappointed with Dipika and KV and adds that he’s been supporting Shiv all this while. Dipika says that even she has been supporting Shiv along with others and tries to justify herself.
In the garden area, Shiv is having troubles sitting on the chair for long. Megha, Jasleen and Srishty tell him that in any case he has to give up, so he shouldn’t make it worse for himself and get up from the chair. Finally, Shiv gives up and leaves the chair. Romil wins the captaincy task.
Bigg Boss congratulates Romil on becoming the captain. Later, Sree and Shiv discuss the extents to which Deepak and others went in the task to torture Shiv. Dipika joins them and the three of them are having dinner. Sree says that Jasleen has to go in this week’s evictions since she’s very week.
At 3 am: Rohit, Somi, Deepak and Romil are discussing how the first captaincy got cancelled. Jasleen is standing there and she hears them. She chides them for spoiling tasks like that. Jasleen takes on Deepak for saying things about her and Megha that they don’t play during the tasks. She says that she doesn’t like it. Rohit says that Srishty still played in the task, but what did Dipika do? The episode comes to an end.
