It's that time of the year again. Bigg Boss 12 was kickstarted last night with a grand premiere episode that also introduced the 17 contestants locked up inside the house this season. Out of the six 'vichitra jodis', one happened to catch everyone's attention. Why? Because of the age gap between them.
Like you already know by now, we're talking about Anup Jalota and Jasleen Matharu. There have been too many slips between the cup and the lip for the couple, much before entering the show. In several interviews, they remained tight-lipped about their relationship while in a few interactions, one of them admitted to it and the other one remained silent. There has been a lot of confusion already about 'whether they are' or 'they aren't' a couple. And from confusion arose several speculations.
A media personnel who happens to be a friend of the 28-year-old singer revealed to us, on condition of anonymity, "Jasleen and Anup aren't together at all. They are just trying to act coy and behave as if they are in a relationship for the sake of the show. The channel has not asked them to do it but they have themselves designed this plan to catch public attention on the show. This is more like their survival strategy."
It seems news of this already reached the show makers, who are known to put contestants in tough situations. In tonight's episode, a panel comprising of ex-Bigg Boss contestants Hina Khan and Hiten Tejwani would be conducting a grilling session on the couples, with the other housemates getting a chance to ask questions to the people sitting on the hot seat. During Anup and Jasleen's turn, many contestants raised eyebrows and questions on their relationship. While some called it 'fake', few even went on to say that they don't even behave like a couple. Although Jasleen had an answer to everyone's query, her friend surely spilt the beans. Ouch!
