Here's all that happened in tonight's episode...
This week's Weekend Ka Vaar begins with Salman Khan paying a tribute to the late veteran actor Shashi Kapoor who left for heavenly abode on December 4. Salman entered on stage with a song of the legendary actor playing in the backdrop and says that the show must go on.
This is followed by a highlight of the week gone by. We're taken back to the lasgt night's episode where Gauri Pradhan leaves the Bigg Boss house and Hiten Tejwani doesn't even get a chance to speak with her. Gauri tells Hiten that she knows why he isn't eating properly in the house. It's because he's not able to work out. But she also tells him that he should eat properly. She kisses him and tells him that the kids also wanted to accompany her but she couldn't get them as she wasn't allowed to do so.
Gauri also tells him that he doesn't need to change anything about the way he's playing the game as he's playing pretty well. She then goes on to meet other contestants. She thanks Vikas Gupta for being there for Hiten and proceeds to tell Arshi that she doesn't have any problem with her flirting with Hiten.
Gauri then gives a piece of her mind to Hina Khan and tells her that the message that she sent was a personal message for Hiten and not for the rest of the house to analyse and use at him. She tells Akash Dadlani that both Hiten and she was fond of him earlier and that he should be like that only. Gauri is then asked to leave the house. She gives Hiten a hug and takes an exit. Hiten and the rest of the housemates are then released by Bigg Boss. Hiten runs towards the main exit door but Gauri had already gone by then. Hiten says that he really wanted to hug her. Some of the housemates feel it was unfair as Hiten breaks down and others try to console him.
Hiten apologises to Hina for what Gauri said and Hina says the she didn't feel bad at all. Later on, Hina says that she found it weird that Gauri didn't meet all the contestants inside the Bigg Boss house. Hina says that Gauri's behaviour was childish and that it was humiliating for those whom she didn't meet. Hina also admits that may be she shouldn't have used Gauri's message after the task in Hiten but she felt it was apt. Vikas decodes why Gauri didn't meet everyone in the house. He shares that Gauri only went up to those who've taken a stand for Hiten.
Salman then tells us that there's a special surprise waiting for Hiten. Then Salman speaks to the housemates through ME TV. He pulls Akash's leg on being nominated with Shilpa. Salman says he really liked the equation that Puneesh and Luv shared with their respective fathers. When Puneesh says that it's his father's birthday, Salman also shares that it's his mother's birthday too. Salman goes on to add that he found Shilpa Shinde's mother to be genuinely sweet and tells her that she's one of the most respectable contestants in the house.
Salman moves on to take potshots at Hina breaking down in tears after her beau Rocky left the house and she couldn't give him any gift. He asks Hina to sing the song 'Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan' and Hina does so. Salman pulls Hina's leg and tells her that Rocky motivated her to stay in the show till the end because he wanted to get a few more weeks without her outside and jokingly adds that he's taken off to Bangkok already.
Then comes Priyank Sharma's turn and Salman begins laughing out loud, rolling on the floor quite literally. He gets trolled badly for his meltdown post Diva Agarwal's exit from the house. Taking off his jacket, Salman comes to Arshi and congratulates her for her captaincy which has been given to her in khairaat. This happens after he asked Arshi to explain the meaning of the word to Akash.
Salman tells Arshi that her colours have changed after becoming the captain. He says that she's started feeling that she doesn't need anyone in the game. When Arshi tries to reason with him, Salman shuts her up and scolds her for misbehaving when Shilpa's mother had come to the house and calling Shilpa names like "Begairat," "Waahiyaat Aurat" and more. Salman questions her performance in all the tasks that have taken place in the house so far and mocks Vikas for his choice of making Arshi the captain.
Salman explained why Shilpa moved her eyes when Arshi's father was speaking to her, thinking her to be Hina. When Arshi again tries to justify herself, Salman clearly tells her that she's in the wrong and making a fool of herself on national television. Arshi doesn't stop. She accuses Salman of favouring Shilpa while the remaining housemtes try to shut her up. Salman hits back at her saying the more she's speaking the more she's digging her own grave. He once again holds Vikas responsible for making her the captain.
Salman leaves them for sometime and Vikas is seen scolding Arshi for her action. Hina and Luv also try to give theri views but it ends up into another war of words. Salman then shows us what happened when Karan Patel, Rohan Mehra and Karishma Tanna entered the house.
The housemates are asked to 'freeze' by Bigg Boss and Karan Patel enters. He praises Vikas and Shilpa and hopes that they work together again. He shows Hina her face and tells her about her hypocrite ways. He takes up the example of Priyank calling her insecure and asks her not let her ego interfere in the matters of friendship. He advises Arshi to change her behaviour atleast towards the one who cooks and feeds her, hinting towards Shilpa. He tells Akash that Priyank has a good body so it looks goos when he goes shirtless but not him.
After Karan's exit, contestants are released and Vikas and Hiten run outside to give hijm a hug, but he had already left by then. Arshi says who was he to tell him how to behave and calls him a tharki. Shilpa is seen sitting away in a corner, getting all emotional. She breaks down while talking about motherhood to Luv Tyagi.
The next one to enter the house is ex Bigg Boss 10 contestant Rohan Mehra. He gives Hina a hug and tells her that she should avoid talking about those who're not in the house and be careful while speaking about them as people talk about it outside. He asks Priyank not to bitch about Hina behind her back and tells Arshi that her behaviour when Shilpa's mom entered the house has put him in a very bad light.
After Rohan exits the house, Hina tells Arshi that may be she's coming across as a bad person post the incident with Shilpa's mother. Arshi again defends herself saying that one appears to be in the goos books of others only if they walk around Shilpa. Hina advises her that either she can be friends with Shilpa or stop talking about her altogether like she does herself.
Karishma Tanna then enters the house and meets everyone. She tells Hiten that she misses him and praises Vikas and tells him that he's her favourite contestant on the show. She tells Akash that she liked the previous Akash better. She tells Hina that at times Hina reminds her of herself in the show. She compliments her on her dressing sense and advises her to practice what she preaches.
Karan, Rohan and Karishma then join Salman on stage and tells them to be in a corner while he speaks to the housemates through ME TV. He mocks the contestants as they couldn't say anything to the celebs when they entered the house and gives them a chance to do so. He asls Hina to say whatever she wants to Karan. As usual, Hina tries to justify herself and aska Karan to be a contestant and stay in the Bigg Boss house in the next season. Karan makes it evident that she's double faced.
Salman sides with Karan and tells Hina that the perception outside the house is the same. Hina still doesn't accept that she's insecue. Salman then makes the atmosphere a little light by diverting the topic towards Karishma Tanna and ends the segment.
Now comes the time of Hiten's big surprise. Salman asks Puneesh to go to the store room and when he does, Hiten's kids come running out towards him. Hiten thanks Salman and hugs his kids. He then takes the kids to show them around in the house when Gauri also enters the house and Hiten finally gets to spend some quality time with his family. Salman takes a leave and tells the viewers not to trouble their mother as it's his mother's birthday.
In the Bigg Boss house, Gauri speaks to Hiten and advices him to take a stand on issues and voice them as it's important that the audience sees it. Hina comes running to Gauri and clarifies her side to Gauri. Gauri is a bit taken aback but tells Hina that it's fine. It's time for Gauri and kids to leave the house. They bid adieu to everyone in the house and Hiten exclaims in joy!
