Bigg Boss 11: Twitterati hits out against Shilpa Shinde for choosing Priyank Sharma over Hiten Tajwani for eviction!

This Sunday's Weekend Ka Vaar episode with Salman Khan came with a major twist. The gharwale were given the power to decide who will remain in the show and who will get evicted between Hiten Tejwani and Priyank Sharma. Luv Tyagi and Shilpa Shinde had already been declared safe on Saturday. 

Now, as soon as Salman asked the housemates to take the decision with mutual consent or arrive on it by majority, there was a lot of upheaval in the house. While initially only Hina Khan and Luv Tyagi were in favour of Priyank and the rest of the housemates, including Shilpa, vouched for Hiten. 

But after sometime, Shilpa changed her vote and chose to save Priyank in place of Hiten, saying that Priyank's participation is slightly more and that Hiten tries to play safe all the time. She also added that considering the game, she feels Hiten is a strong contender and it'll be for the better in future if he's eliminated. 

While this came as a shock to many, Shilpa's reasons too sounded fair enough. But Shilpa's decision didn't go down well with the fans of Hiten Tejwani, who lashed out against her on Twitter, calling her a backstabber. Hiten had lied to Arshi to save Shilpa from nominations recently while Shilpa didn't vote for Hiten. Moreover, post the decision, even Hina and Luv felt bad for Hiten's eviction, but Shilpa seemed pretty chilled about it.
