Bigg Boss 10's controversial contestant Swami Om has passed away. As per Zee News, he has been ill from the past few months and breathed his last on Wednesday in NCR. Confirming the news, Arjun Jain, son of Swami Om's friend Mukesh Jain told Zee News that he had a paralysis attack a few days back after which his health deteriorated. He was undergoing treatment at AIIMS.

Arjun told the portal, "Swami Om was sick for the last few months. Even after recovering the coronavirus, he had a lot of trouble walking due to weakness. After which he also had paralysis in half his body. His condition worsened 15 days ago due to paralysis. He breathed his last this morning."

According to the reports, his last rites will be performed today at 1:30 pm at Nigam Bodh Ghat, Delhi.

Swami Om was one of the most talked-about contestants during the 10th season. He was feared and resented by many during his stint.

The makers of Bigg Boss 10 had sent him home after the self-proclaimed godman did the grotesque act of throwing urine on housemate Bani J. He was eliminated from the show post that.

After his stint on Bigg Boss, Swami Om continued with his series of controversies and created headlines multiple times.

Earlier during an interaction with India Today, he had called Priyanka Jagga, his fellow contestant as 'dharmaputri'. He said, "My dharamputri Priyank Jagga was my favourite contestant in the house. Out of all the girls, I found her of extraordinary character. I even made her fast for Karwa Chauth and created history in Bigg Boss house."
