Yes, according to Bollywood Life, the couple is all set to tie the knot on Feb 4th and 5th. Wedding preparations are in full swing in their hometown Delhi. Both Pankhuri and Gautam's families are based in Delhi and taking in consideration when their near and dear ones will be available, the two zeroed in this date. Recently, the two also went for a vacation in Thailand in middle of busy work schedules as well.
Gautam Rode and Pankhuri Awasthy confirmed getting engaged on Diwali last year. The duo first met on the sets of the TV show Suryaputra Karn and became friends. Slowly, their friendship turned into love and only a few who are very close to the couple were aware of their relationship. A report on the Times of India stated that the duo exhanged rings on the auspicious occasion of Diwali this year. The families of both Gautam and Pankhuri were in attendence. While Pankhuri is into poetry, Gautam is a big time fitness enthusiast. The actor was quoted as saying, "Yes, Pankhuri and I recently got engaged and I feel lucky to have found a life partner like her. We share the same wavelength and she has fit into my family perfectly.” While Pankhuri told the daily,"We have taken the first step. The families have wholeheartedly welcomed our union. In Gautam, I have found the answer to all my dreams. I’m eagerly looking forward to the most important phase of my life. Our families will sit together and decide the date. It will be sometime next year.”
