'He's almost my father's age': Avika Gor reacts to rumours of having 'secret child' with co-star Manish Raisinghan

‘Balika Vadhu’ famed actor Avika Gor has been stealing headlines for a while because of several reasons. One that has caught everyone’s eye is a buzz of her rumoured relationship with ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ co-star Manish Raisinghan.

In conversation with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Avika said, “There were articles like humne bachcha chhupa ke rakha hai (we have a secret child). We are very close, even now. In my journey from the age of 13 till now, he has been the closest friend that I've ever had."

Avika also mentioned that the rumours did affect them at first, to a point that they didn’t talk to each other for two weeks. Gor said, “If we read old news stories about us, we laugh."

The actor went on to say, "He's 18 years elder than me. Even now when people ask me if anything was happening between us, I'm like 'yaar, mere papa se thoda chhota hai woh (he's almost my father's age)."

For the unversed, Manish married his lady love Sangeita Chauhaan in June last year. They tied the knot in a gurudwara in Mumbai in the presence of their immediate family members in November 2020, Meanwhile, Avika made her relationship official with MTV Roadies contestant Milind Chandwani.

On the work front, after a successful spell on television in shows like ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Sasural Simar Ka’, Avika turned down south and worked in Telugu films. Some of her successful films include 'Uyyala Jampala' (2013), 'Cinema Choopistha Mava' (2015) and 'Raju Gari Gadhi 3' (2019).
