TV actor Shweta Tiwari who has been making headlines for dramatic physical transformation and flaunting her killer abs via photos on her verified Instagram handle, recently opened up about losing the extra kilos, working hard towards a fitter self while also sharing how her daughter Palak Tiwari motivated her to hire a "transformer".

While sharing that she had gained a lot of weight post her second pregnancy and developed shoulder pain when she exercised to lose the kilos for a project, Shweta said that her 'pain escalated and converted into a frozen shoulder'. She revealed that she was advised to take up muscle training and weight workout to heal the shoulder. And that's when her daughter also motivated her to get fit.

During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shweta said, "After my second delivery, I had put on a lot of weight. I was 73 at that point in time and when I got Hum Tum and Them, they wanted me to lose weight as they needed me to fit in a particular size. So I started working hard to fit in that size. During that time I realised that I have shoulder pain. I had never lifted weights in my life so I didn’t have any muscle strength. So my shoulders started paining at that time. By the time Mere Dad Ki Dulhan came, my pain escalated and converted into a frozen shoulder. There were times while shooting or while taking care of my child the pain would affect me severely,"

"They told me to start training, go for pilates and weight workout to heal my shoulder. So I started weight training and that’s when I started liking it. I started feeling strong. Then my daughter said, ‘Dude this is your business, this is your career. You are not over yet. Hire a good trainer. Go get a good trainer. Pay money baby and get yourself fit.’ Then I said, ‘Yeah you are right.’ Palak also said, ‘Don’t go to a trainer, they want you to keep training all their life. They will not make your body, go to a transformer who can transform you in like few months,'" she added.

Shweta finally did find a great trainer who helped her lose the extra kilos. She even spoke about her fitness journey in an Instagram post and revealed how she managed to shed 10 kg with a workout regime soon after her pregnancy.

She wrote in her post, "I was at 73kgs and I desperately needed to lose that weight before starting ‘Hum Tum and Them’ in order to fit my character. I was way too occupied with my newborn then to truly commit to exercising, so if I’m being honest the only thing that helped me shed the 10 kgs was @kskadakia brilliant diet, even though now it’s a combination of strenuous exercising along with my dietician’s @kskadakia recommended diet, But.. I initially dropped the 10kgs of weight solely through @kskadakia allocated plan."

On the work front, Shweta is currently in Cape Town, shooting for the upcoming season of the stunt-based reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 11'.

"I really am lucky that I found her when I did because she' truly accommodated all my cheat days into a plan that's overall very beneficial and still very fun to devour on a day to day basis, I’m never bored of my diet, and always looking forward to my next meal and that’s key," she had added.
