Game of Thrones will begin its seventh season on July 16. The mega hit medieval fantasy drama is the talk of the town. The magnanimity of the show always steam rolls other fellow runners. Therefore, before the popular series takes over the watercooler discussions, one section of binge watchers need to catch up on other shows you were hearing about but couldn’t get around to watching. Then there is another lot which would love to stay away from the GoT fever.

GLOW

This is the new Orange Is The New Black but funnier and livelier. It’s an abbreviation of the Glorious Ladies of Wrestling. Inspired by the real story of the 1980s female wrestling league, the series is the fictionalised story of an out of work actress, Alison Brie of Community fame, who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.

Gypsy

Naomi Watts plays Jean Holloway, a Manhattan therapist with a seemingly flawless, spotless life. She begins to develop intimate and illicit relationships with the people in her patients’ lives which blur the border between her professional life and personal fantasies. Reality clashes with the forces of her desire and we get a well-done psycho-thriller.

Fleabag

Award-winning playwright Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who is also part of stand-alone Han Solo movie and heavily speculated to be the new Doctor in the sci-fi series Doctor Who, wrote this story of a dry-witted, sexual, angry, grief-riddled woman. Fleabag has to deal with all of this and living in the modern day London. Six hours of this series and one will have experienced every emotion there is to indulge in.

Castlevania

Castlevania is a dark medieval fantasy following the last surviving member of the disgraced Belmont clan, trying to save Eastern Europe from extinction at the hand of Vlad Dracula Tepe himself. Based on a classic video game series of the same name, the animated series will keep you close in the territory of Game of Thrones if not completely in it.
