Get ready to see John Krasinski become a CIA operative and turn into an action star
John Krasinski, known for his role as Jim Halpert from The Office, is gearing up to play a US Marine–turned–Wall Street stockbroker–turned–CIA analyst–turned–operative in the TV series based on Tom Clancy's famous novel series Jack Ryan.
Krasinski is coming off the success of his directorial debut A Quiet Place. Stepping into the shoes of an action hero is not a new feeling for him since he was also part of Michael Bay's Benghazi drama 13 Hours -- a movie based on the aftermath events of Gaddafi's downfall.
The series has already been renewed for season 2 even before the season 1 aired, indicates that Amazon Studios trusts the show to do good.
