Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes have wrapped up their show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'
Amidst dipping TRPs, changing cast and COVID-19, Ekta Kapoor and the makers of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' decided to end the show starring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in the lead. Parth had replaced Ronit Roy as the iconic 'Anurag Basu' while Erica Fernandes stepped into Shweta Tiwari's shoes for Prerna Basu.
While Parth and 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' famed actor Karan Patel (who had recently stepped in as Mr Bajaj) shot their last scene for the show on October 17, it will air on October 3. The news about the show going off-air comes amidst rumours of Parth wanting to quit the show to focus on health and other projects.
Sahil Anand, also part of the show as Anupam, shared pictures (mostly selfies) with the cast. Meanwhile, Parth and Erica fans surprised them with a grand gesture - three-tier cake, to wrap up the show in style.

'Anurag Basu' Parth Samthaan received a sweet and grand surprise from his fans, in the form of a cake and heartfelt note. The four-tier cake had '2 years of iconic Anurag Basu' written on it. The cake also had reels with stills of Parth as Anurag Basu on the show.
5. A joint cake for Parth-Erica

Erica Fernandes also received a cake on the wrap. The cake, a two-tier, had a jacket and saree on it, with a photo frame of Parth and Erica as Anurag and Prerna Basu. Erica shared the images as her Instagram stories.
