Ankita Lokhande paid a tribute to actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who died earlier this year, through her performance on Zee Rishtey Awards
Ankita Lokhande performed a special tribute for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput on Saturday, at Zee Rishtey Awards. The Television actress also gave the media a few bytes, where she shared a message for all Sushant fans.
Ankita urged all fans of the late actor to watch her special tribute for Sushant. She asked them to shower the performance with lots of love.
The actress said, "Zee Rishtey Awards zaroor dekhiye kyunki iss baar kuch khaas hai jo aap sabke liye hai. Saare jitne bhi fans hai Sushant ke, unke liye hai. I know Sushant se bohot log pyaar karte hai. Bas aaj unke liye ek choti si koshish hai meri taraf se."
"Please isey dekhiye aur dher saara pyaar dijiye (Please watch Zee Rishtey Awards because there is something special lined up for everyone this time. It is for all of Sushant’s fans. I know people love Sushant a lot. This is a small tribute from me. Please watch it and give it lots of love)," she added.
Ankita had recently shared a video of her rehearsing for the performance. She was seen dancing to Neha Kakkar's hit track 'Taaron Ke Shehar'. Ankita can be seen perfecting her steps to give a fitting tribute to the 'Dil Bechara' actor.
She even recalled their Pavitra Rishta days when the two had given several performances together during award shows.

Ankita had constantly raised her voice to bring justice to actor Sushant Singh Rajput, before AIIMS declared that the actor died by suicide.
Sushant was found dead in his Bandra apartment on June 14 this year under mysterious circumstances. After fans pressed that his death should be inquired upon, CBI started conducting an investigation in the matter with the help of ED, NCB and AIIMS.
