Uber driver in Mumbai went on a trip without passenger and the entire journey will make you laugh

When Mumbai resident Preshit Deorukhkar booked a cab from Uber, he didn’t think he would have such an interesting experience.

On July 19, Deorukhkar booked a cab from the Uber app but soon realized that after booking it, the driver began the drive without picking him. According to reports, it was the first working day of the cab driver with Uber.

Deorukhkar quickly raised the issue on Twitter and also with the Uber authority. He also tweeted that he tried to contact the driver but was unreachable.

After tracking the online journey, Deorukhkar realized that the driver was roaming around the city on his expense. He also brought to the notice of Uber authorities that the cab driver had no proper name on the app and it only says “P”.

Later, Deorukhkar also joked about the fact that whether there was any dead body in the car or not. He said, “Or he is dumping a dead body sealed in the car deep in the mangroves, me thinks.” After the driver ended the trip, it showed a payment of Rs 857.43.

Driver goes for a joyride, tries to dupe the rider, wastes rider’s time, and all he gets is a “note” on his profile

Uber responded to Deorukhkar’s complaint and stated that they would refund the full trip fare which will reflect in his account within the next 3-5 days.
