Tinder will soon offer you a new feature called Feed, which will offer you real-time updates from your matches, including posts from Instagram. The company will bring in additional social networks in the future as well.

Tinder explains that the new feature - Feed – will offer real-time updates from your matches such as recent Tinder photos, Instagram posts and more. It will not be similar to Facebook though. This newsfeed will be in real time and chronological.

The company mentioned in a blog, “Feed brings your matches to life by delivering a visual and interactive experience that helps you spark conversation with the people you want to meet most. It’s an exciting new way to see more of what someone is all about by giving you a true glimpse into their world—their passions, their personality, their latest adventure—all leading to better conversations and deeper connections.”

The “Feed” feature will allow you to double tap on a particular Instagram post to send a message, specifically related to the content. It will bring up a separate message thread where you can continue the conversation. However, this feature will only work on the people you have swiped right on and have also swiped right on you, not on everyone. You can head into your Settings or edit your profile; in an effort to manage what exactly your matches will see from you in the Feed.

At the moment, the feature is being tested in Australia, New Zealand and Canada. There are no details provided as to when this feature will arrive to other countries.
