HMD Global is now rumoured to introduce the Nokia 9 by the end of this year. Several reports suggest that the device will be similar to the iPhone X’s design. Now, a new report has surfaced online, which shares the specifications of the device.
According to Finnish site Suomimobiili, the Nokia 9 will feature a 6.01-inch QHD AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It might also sport a black ceramic case along with a gold lining on the edges. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor paired with 8GB RAM. In terms of memory, the device will come with 256GB of onboard storage.
However, the highlight feature of the smartphone will be its camera. It is said to include triple rear camera set up – one with a 41MP wide-angle lens with LED flash while the second one will sport a 20MP Telephoto lens and the third one will include a 9.7MP monochrome sensor.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass and USB Type-C. Running Android 8.1 Oreo, the handset will be backed by a 3,900mAh battery which is rated to deliver a standby time of 565 hours and talk time of up to 24 hours. It will also support Qi fast wireless charging.
HMD Global is also expected to unveil the Nokia 7 Plus in India tomorrow. The smartphone features a 6-inch screen along with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and comes in an aluminum uni-body. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 64GB, which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.
It comes equipped with a dual camera setup. It includes a 12MP rear camera with an f/1.75 aperture along with a 13MP camera with an f/2.6 aperture. It also includes a 16MP front-facing camera along with an f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack. A 3800mAh battery completes the package.
