LEAKED: Meizu M6s design and specifications appear online

Meizu’s M6s smartphone has leaked online. Chinese social network Weibo has revealed information regarding specifications along with the design as well. The device will be unveiled on January 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center.

Meizu’s M6s smartphone has leaked online. Chinese social network Weibo has revealed information regarding specifications along with the design as well. The device will be unveiled on January 17 at the Beijing National Convention Center.

According to the listing, the device will feature a 5.7-inch screen with a 1440×720 resolution and an 18:9 HD+ display. It is powered by a hexa-core 2.0GHz Exynos 7872 processor along with 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and a Mali G71-MP3 GPU. It is said to be spot two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. It will come equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Running Android 7.0 Nougat with Flyme OS on top, the smartphone will be backed by a 3,000mAh battery.

Gizmochina points out that the company plans to rebuild the brand image and also create a new design style. Meizu Exec disclosed that the company wants to re-engineer its high-end market and would focus more on the high-end market.

The company also has plans to collaborate with Qualcomm and Samsung in 2018 in order to propel its ambitious drive to target the market with high-end products this year. The focus here would be on the aspect of chipsets.
