Honor Play goes on sale in India via Amazon: Get 10GB free data from Vodafone

Honor has launched the Honor Play smartphone in India and is now available via Amazon and and the HiHonorStore. While the 4GB RAM is priced at Rs 19,999, the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 23,999. It will be available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colour options.

Honor has launched the Honor Play smartphone in India and is now available via Amazon and and the HiHonorStore. While the 4GB RAM is priced at Rs 19,999, the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 23,999. It will be available in Midnight Black and Navy Blue colour options.

Customers who purchase the device will also be eligible to a Vodafone offer that will provide 10GB of data additional per month for a year. Additionally, customers will get an Amazon Prime subscription as well.

In terms of specifications, the device features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 1080x2340 pixels resolution. It is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC with two RAM variant options – 4GB and 6GB. Running Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2, the device includes an internal storage of 64GB and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

The devices comes equipped with a dual rearcamera set up - 16MP primary sensor along with a 2MP secondary sensor. It also features a 16MP front-facing  camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C (v2.0), GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A 3750mAh battery completes the package.

Honor introduced two smartphones in May this year, Honor 7A and the Honor 7C, for a price of Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999. Now the company is offering a discount of Rs 500 for the Honor 7C. In terms of specifications, the Honor 7C features a 5.99-inch display with a 1440×720 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with either 3GB/4GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB or 64GB and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It will come equipped with a dual camera set up – 13MP + 2MP sensors. It will also include an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3000mAh battery completes the package.

On the other hand, the Honor 7A features a 5.7-inch HD+ display along with a 720x1440 pixels resolution. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. It will come equipped with a dual camera set up – 13MP + 2MP sensors. It will also include an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. Both devices will be available in Black, Blue and Gold colour variants.
