HMD Global introduces Nokia 5 in China: Price, specifications and more

HMD Global has finally launched the Nokia 5 in China. The 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage variant is priced at 999 Yuan (approximately Rs 10,200) while the 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage variant is priced at 1399 Yuan (approximately Rs 14,200). The Nokia X5 will be available in three colour variants – Black, Blue and White. At the moment, there is no information provided as to when the device will launch in India. 

The Nokia 5 includes a 5.86-inch display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and offers 84 percent screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by an octa-core 2.0GHz Helio P60 chipset and will be available in two RAM options – 3GB/4GB RAM. It will be available in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB and will include expandable storage of up to 256GB via microSD card.

Running Android 8.1 Oreo, the device comes equipped with a dual camera set up – 13MP rear sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. It also includes an 8MP front-facing camera. Connectivity features include dual 4G Dual VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. A 3060mAh battery completes the package. The device is rated to deliver up to 27 hours of life time, 17.5 hours of talk time, 19.5 hours of music playback, 5.8 hours during gaming, and 12 hours of video playback.
