E-commerce portal Flipkart is now back with its Big Shopping Days sale which will run from May 13 to May 16. The sale will offer cash back and exchange offers along with no-cost EMI options.  Additionally, HDFC Bank debit and credit card customers can avail 10 percent discount during the sale as well. Let’s take a quick look at some of the best smartphone deals available:

1. Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+

As a part of the Flipkart sale, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be available for Rs 37,990 while the Galaxy S8+ will be available for a price of Rs 43,990. In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch QHD+ display with a 1440x2960 pixels resolution. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus sports a 6.2-inch QHD+ display with a 440x2960 pixels resolution. Both devices will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 SoC. They will be powered by an octa-core 10nm processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. It will come equipped with an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are equipped with an advanced 8MP F1.7 Smart autofocus front camera and 12MP F1.7 Dual Pixel rear camera for low-light, zoom and anti-blur photos with enhanced image processing. The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are backed up by a 3000mAh and 3500mAh battery respectively.​

2. Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL

As a part of the sale, the Pixel 2, will retail for a price of Rs 34,999 while the Google Pixel 2 XL is available at a discounted price of Rs 54,999. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were unveiled in October last year. While the Pixel 2 sports a 5-inch Full HD display with the standard 16:9 aspect ratio, the Google Pixel 2 XL comes with a 6-inch P-OLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Both smartphones are powered by the Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 2 is slated to deliver up to seven hours of use on 15 minutes of charging and is available in 64GB and 128GB internal storage variants.

Google recently released the Android 8.1 Oreo update to Pixel and Nexus smartphones and is available via an OTA (over-the-air) update. The company shared system images of eligible devices - Google Pixel 2, Google Pixel 2 XL, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, Pixel C tablet, Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X. The company mentioned in a blog, “We're pushing sources to Android Open Source Project now, and rolling out the update to supported Pixel and Nexus devices over the next week. We're also working with our device maker partners to bring Android 8.1 to more devices, including Android Oreo (Go edition) devices, in the months ahead.”

3. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5

The Redmi Note 5 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is currently priced at Rs 11,999. However, as a part of the sale, the device will be available for Rs 10,799. In terms of specifications, the device features a 5.99-inch screen along with an 18:9 Full View display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor, and is available in 3GB/4GB RAM variants. It comes equipped with a 12 MP rear camera and an aperture of f/2.2 along with a 5 MP front-facing camera with a front-facing LED flash. A 4000mAh battery completes the package. It will be available in Rose Gold, Gold, Blue and Black color variants.

4. Honor 9 Lite

The Honor 9 Lite, which is currently priced at Rs 13,999 is now available for Rs 9999. With an exchange offer, customers can avail a maximum of Rs 9,000 off the listed price. In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with an aspect ratio of 18:9, pixel density of 428ppi and a 1080x2160 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. It is offered in 32GB and 64GB storage variants and can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card.

Running Android 8.0 Oreo, the Honor 9 Lite comes equipped with dual cameras on the front and back. On both sides, the device sports a 13MP primary camera along with a 2MP secondary camera. It also includes PDAF autofocus and LED flash. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and microUSB. A 3000mAh battery completes the package. The Honor 9 Lite is rated to deliver a talk time of up to 20 hours on 3G, and a standby time of up to 24 days. Apart from this, the company states that the smartphone can be fully charged in roughly 2 hours 20 minutes.

5. iPhone X

The iPhone X, for the 64GB variant which is currently priced at Rs 89,000 is now priced at Rs. 81,999. With an exchange offer, customers can avail a maximum of Rs 5,000 off the listed price. In terms of specifications, the iPhone X sports a 5.8 inch Super Retina HD Display and is powered by the company’s A11 Bionic chip. It comes equipped with a 12MP + 12MP dual rear cameras along with a 7MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with a battery that claims to last up to 2 hours longer than the iPhone 7. In October last year, Apple reported that the initial pre-orders for the 10th anniversary phone were "off the charts". The company's website showed delivery times pushed out to five to six weeks for the phone, compared to an initial plan of November 3.
