The Kindle Oasis is now available for pre-order. The 8GB model is priced at Rs 21,999 while the 32GB model (WiFi + free 3G) is priced at Rs 28,999. The device will start shipping from November 13.

The water-safe fabric covers are priced at Rs 2,999 and will be available in indigo, charcoal and sandstone colour variants. The premium leather covers are priced at Rs 3,999 and will be available in black and merlot color variants.
In terms of specifications, the device features a 7-inch display with 300 ppi. The device fits over 30 per cent more words per page and it has the fastest page turns of any Kindle. The company is also adding new bold and font options, including the OpenDyslexic typeface.
The device has a waterproof rating of IPX8, which means that it has been tested for up to 60 minutes under two meters of fresh water. According to reports, it has also been tested in different water environments, like hot tubs, pools, and bubble baths.
