Apple WWDC 2018: Now, you will soon be able to FaceTime 32 people at once

Apple in its Worldwide Developer Conference on Monday announced that it will soon launch group FaceTime chats with iOS 12, where users will be able to add up 32 people at once.

Apple in its Worldwide Developer Conference on Monday announced that it will soon launch group FaceTime chats with iOS 12, where users will be able to add up 32 people at once.  FaceTime feature, according to Apple, will be integrated into messages which will let users transit a group chat into a group video call. Apple also informed that FaceTime will also features filters and Animoji, along with firm's new Memoji.

Apple has unveiled the much awaited iOS 12 at its annual WWDC conference. The event is happening at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. 

It has also introduced a new feature to iOS 12. The new group notifications feature will allow users to group notifications together with a swipe and offers the ability to manage notifications from the lock screen.

VP of software Craig Federighi says, “These great features help you limit your distraction.” Additionally, users will also get a new ScreenTime feature which will let users limit how much time they spend on their device.

"With iOS 12, we're doubling down on performance," Apple's senior VP of software engineering, Craig Federighi, said on stage at the keynote. iOS 12 will come to all the same devices as iOS 11. Apple says it's focusing its efforts on the oldest devices, like the iPhone 6 Plus. Apps will launch up to 40 percent faster, and you can slide to take a photo at up to 70 percent faster than with iOS 11.

The event has been live-streamed at various platforms. iPhone, iPad and Mac users can head to the official website on Safari and stream the live event. First-genSecond-, or fourth-generation Apple TV, you can watch the event at the Apple Events channel. If you are a Windows user, you can watch the event on Microsoft Edge browser.
