Apple introduces new 9.7-inch iPad with Apple Pencil support

At an event today in Chicago, Apple announced a new iPad that works with its Apple Pencil accessory, in an effort to woo school students. The new 9.7-inch iPad is priced at $329 for consumers and $299 for schools while the Pencil is priced at $99 for consumers and $89 for schools. It will go on sale in April in India.

At an event today in Chicago, Apple announced a new iPad that works with its Apple Pencil accessory, in an effort to woo school students. The new 9.7-inch iPad is priced at $329 for consumers and $299 for schools while the Pencil is priced at $99 for consumers and $89 for schools. It will go on sale in April in India.

The company also announced that it has partnered with Logitech to bring a new stylus called Crayon. It is priced at $49. The company is also giving away up to 200GB of iCloud storage to students.                

In terms of specifications, the device is powered by the A10 Fusion chip, which already powers iPhones such as the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. It also comes with Touch ID and an 8MP rear camera. The new iPad also comes with support for augmented reality.

Apple also unveiled new versions of its Pages, Numbers, and Keynote apps. It will now support Apple Pencil. Additionally, it also launched a new app called School Work. This is a cloud-based app that allows teachers assign handouts and track progress.

This iPad also has the power of the A10 Fusion chip, combined with the big, beautiful Retina display, advanced cameras and sensors that enable incredible AR experiences simply not possible on other devices.”
