The road to Wrestlemania 34 became more clear with WWE Fastlane in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday (Monday morning in India). The pay-per-view saw the wrestlers from the blue brand SmackDown Live in action just weeks before the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.
The main event featured a Six Pack Challenge for the WWE Championship that included AJ Styles, John Cena, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, and Baron Corbin. Charlotte Flair was in action defending the SmackDown Live Women's Championship against Ruby Riott.
This was the final SmackDown Live pay-per-view leading up to WrestleMania 34.
2018 WWE Fastlane results- here are the matches and the results:
WWE Championship
AJ Styles (c) beats John Cena, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Baron Corbin
John Cena delivered AA to everyone except AJ Styles to clear the field. The two then went one-one-one for a while. The other fighters then returned and targeted John Cena for a beatdown.
Lot of action followed after that. The highlight was surely a counter to AA by Dolph Ziggler and John Cena sending AJ through the announce table.
Sami Zayn promised Kevin Owens he would lay down for him and he did that. However, Owens was hestitant and then tried to hit Zayn who rolled him up and almost get the three count.
KO tried to powerbomb him on the apron but Zayn counters with a back drop on the apron. Zayn screamed at Shane McMahon for doing this to them. Owens tries to superkick Sami but it's Shane who gets hit. KO then had Sami pinned but Shane pulled the referee out of the ring. Sami hit KO with the Helluva kick and made the cover but Shane pulled him out of the ring too.
Baron Corbin then cleared the field with the steel steps. However, John Cena countered and hit an AA. He then hit an AA to Dolph Ziggler. However, Owens interrupted the secomd AA attempt but it was AJ Styles who made the most of the oppurtunity to hit KO with a Styles clash and win the match.
So, it's AJ Styles v/s Shinshuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania 34.
However, it looks like the end of the 'road to Wrestlemania' for John Cena.

Asuka v/s Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 34
However, the biggest moment came after the match as Asuka entered the arena.
She pointed to the Wrestlemania sign. We all know what that means. Charlotte v/s Asuka for the "SmackDown" Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34 is officially on.
SHE'S MADE HER DECISION.

SmackDown Live Women's Championship
Charlotte Flair (c) beats Ruby Riott: It was The Queen v/s The Rebel. Ruby entered without Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan. There were some quick calls early in the match. However, Morgan and Logan were ringside. Becky Lynch and Naomi came to Charlotte's corner to even the odds. Many near finishes and near falls later, The Riott managed to get Lynch and Naomi thrown out. Morgan and Logan followed but not before doing some damage to Flair. However, she recoverd to apply the Figure Eight-Leg-Lock for the win.

SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship
The Usos (c) v/s The New Day- no result: Two of the best ever tag teams clashed for the gold. Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston started for The New Day. While The Usos started the assault, it was The New Day who soon turned the tables. The traded momentum for the early half of the match. And there came a point when all of them were lying on the floor some crazy hi-flying moves.
The Bludgeon Brothers crashed the party. They laid waste to all the five men. They used hammers, steel steps and brute power to leave a trail of destruction.
Guess who didn't want to see #TheNewDay and The @WWEUsos finish their rivalry...

Becky Lynch & Naomi lose to Natalya & Carmella: The heels isolated Naomi for the early part of the match. Finally, she managed a tag to Becky who rained a little red fire. However, distraction from Natalya allowed Carmella to pin Lynch and win the match.

WWE US Championship
Randy Orton defeats Bobby Roode: Both men went for back and forth action in the start. Some near finishes and near falls got crowd into the action. Orton connected an RKO and it was goodbye for Roode.
Randy Orton joined Chris Jericho as the only WWE Superstars to achieve the WWE Grand Slam Championship with the US title as the final accomplishment.
After the match Jinder Mahal attacked the Viper. Bobby Roode then delivered spine busters to both Orton and Mahal.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev: Shinsuke Nakamura, the Royal Rumble winner, was involved in a non-title match at WWE Fastlane. It was not much surprise to see Nakamura win just before his big match at WrestleMania 34. However, a series of near falls and reversals kept the crowd intrigued enough. Rusev appeared to have the match won late after Nakamura walked into a Machka Kick for two. However, he broke free from Rusev's Accolade to hit a Kinsasha for the win.

Kickoff Show
Tye Dillinger & Breezango defeated Mojo Rawley, Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin: It was match thrown together after a backstage argument during the kickoff show. There was no much to about here. However, all the six men involved are good workers and they got the crowd a little excited. Dillinger packaged a super-kick and Tye Breaker to pin Rawley.
Jinder Mahal, The Modern Day Maharaja, joined the kickoff show panel. He said that he was upset not to get a shot at the WWE US Championship.
