WWE returns to India, RAW to hold two live events in Delhi this December

WWE superstars will be seen performing in India as part in two RAW-branded live events in the month of December.

There is some good news for the wrestling entertainment fans from India. Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment aka WWE is heading to New Delhi this year. 

WWE superstars will take part in two RAW-branded live events in the month of December. The events will he held on December 7 (Friday) and 8 (Saturday) at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium.

The last time WWE headed to India was in January 2016 when it hosted live across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. The tour will also see WWE return to Abu Dhabi in the UAE on December 6 at the Zayed Sports City Tennis Stadium.

The WWE has been trying to increase its hold among its Indian fan following recently. There have been reports that WWE chairman Vince McMahon sees a huge potential market in the country. 

They have tried to tap the potential with The Great Khali earlier and now with the current WWE champion Jinder Mahal.  

It is not quite certain if Mahal and the Singh Brothers - Sameer and Sunil - will be making the event since they perform on RAW's sister brand Smackdown Live.

However, superstar like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Deam Ambrose, The Miz, Braun Strowman and Sasha Banks are on RAW roaster. John Cena, a free agent is also performing in RAW currently.
