Mahal was involved in fatal four-way match for the US Champions with Randy Orton, Rusev and Bobby Roode at WrestleMania 34.
At WrestleMania 34, India's Jinder Mahal become the new WWE United States Champion as he beat Rusev, Randy Orton and Bobby Roode in a fatal four-way match.
This is the second big WWE title for the Modern Day Maharaja after winning the WWE Championship last year.
Mahal was involved in fatal four-way match with US Champions Orton, Rusev and Roode. The match started with Orton going for a quick RKO on Mahal but the Viper missed. Rusev then ran over Jinder and Orton.
Roode rolled Rusev up in the ring for a 2 count. Rusev than ran into boots in the corner and Roode nailed a Blockbuster out of the corner for a 2 count.
Orton caught Roode in a big powerslam for a 2 count next. Orton nailed a superplex on Roode from the rope. However, Jinder Mahdal broke the count out.
In the end, Orton delivered RKOs to Aiden English, Rusev and Jinder. Orton covered Mahal for the win but Roode broke it up. Roode then blocked the RKO and hit Orton with a Glorious DDT but Jinder broke the pin this time.
While Rusev sent Orton and Roode out and then stomped Jinder. He went for the The Accolade but Sunil Singh tried to interfere. Singh was knocked off the apron but Jinder took advantage to hit The Khallas on Rusev for the pin and the title.
In matches before this, Seth Rollins beat The Miz and Finn Balor to become the new Intercontinental Champion. Naomi won the first women's Battle Royal, while Matt Hardy won the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal with some help from Bray Wyatt.
India's Kavita Devi was part of the women's Battle Royal but was eliminated early.
Cedric Alexander beat Mushtfa Ali to win the WWE Cruiserweight title.
