Playing the role of a veteran, the Indian off-spinner tried to break up the feud.

Tamil Nadu Premier League is at its peak and the tensions between teams and the players is now translating on to the field.
One such incident took place in a match between Chepauk Super Gillies and Dindigul Dragons when two players exchanged a few words and got physical.
In a tightly contested match, in which Chapauk Super Gillies beat Dindigul Dragons by 6 runs, Gillies spinner R Sai Kishore dismissed Dindigul batsman Jagadeesan Narayan caught by Antony Dhas at short third-man. As a result, both batsman and the bowler got into a verbal spat and it got physical when Kishore pushed Jagadeesan, reports Sportskeeda.
Dindigul captain R Ashwin, who was on the non-striker end rushed to intervene. Jagadeesan tried to give it back when Ashwin stopped him and asked him to leave the field.
Visibly angry Ashwin said something to Kishore before Gillies skipper R Sathish and Thalaivan Sargunam came in to calm down Ashwin.

After a while, Ashwin walked over to the Gillies huddle in which the players were celebrating the wicket and told off the bowler.
