WATCH: Sania Mirza has an aww-worthy message for Shoaib Malik's 250th ODI

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza showed full support for her husband Shoaib Malik as he steps on the field to represent Pakistan for the 250th time in an ODI on Monday. Pakistan take on Sri Lanka in a virtual quarter-final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017, and Sania will be present in Cardiff to cheer on her husband.

In a video released by Pakistan Cricket Team's Facebook account, Sania is seen praising Shoaib for his commitment to his country and the game.

"I think it shows his commitment to Pakistan and to cricket and I have always known him as someone full of passion for playing and for representing his country. It's a very proud moment for his mother, for his siblings, for myself. Very proud of everything that he has achieved and I wish him all the best for tomorrow," the tennis ace said.

Sania also gave fans an insight into how she manages time with her husband between all her tennis assignments. She said that she's hoping that "the best team wins" the ICC event being played in England at the moment.

"It's been great. I haven't watched that many matches. I watched some in the last few days. I was myself playing in Paris and there wasn't much cricket there. I love cricket. I love watching it. I think I watched the last live match when Pakistan beat South Africa and I will watch tomorrow, hopefully. But I did watch couple of India matches as well and ya, may the best team win," Sania added.
