Union of the WWE champions: Becky Lynch announces engagement with Seth Rollins

WWE universal champion Seth Rollins and Raw women's champion Becky Lynch on Thursday night announced their engagement through social media.

Becky posted the news on her Instagram and Twitter along with a picture. Showing off a ring on her finger, she captioned it, "Happiest day of my life. For the rest of my life".

Rollins (real name Colby Lopez) and Lynch (Rebecca Quin) have been dating for quite some time but only recently made their relationship public.

The couple are believed to be on vacation and are expected to be off WWE for at least a week.

Rollins on Monday night won the Raw tag team championship alongside Braun Strowman. Rollins is rumoured to be facing Strowman at WWE's upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view for his universal tile. 

As for Lynch, she is set to face the recently returning Sasha Banks at the same event on Sunday, September 15 in Charlotte.
