Serena Williams's daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Junior is already one of the most followed people in the world of social media. Serena keeps posting her pictures and videos to her fans. Williams had given birth to Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr last month. Her fiance, Alexis Ohanian, is one of the co-founders of Reddit.

The Tennis superstar has now revealed a interesting fact about her daughter's name. Serena revealed that her daughter’s name had been kept in tune with Australian Open, the Grand Slam she had won earlier this year while being pregnant.

Williams wrote in a tweet, “Fun fact my daughters initials are AO, as in the Aussie open she won with me @AustralianOpen.”

When Williams won her 23rd Grand Slam in January, not many people were aware of her being pregnant. She had earned praise across the tennis fraternity after the news did break after a few weeks. Williams is now aiming to take part in the next year’s Australian Open as well. It will be an extremely difficult task to pull off given the event’s scheduled just five months after she had given birth.
