The Undertaker has been one of the legends in the WWE circuit for close to three decades. His deadman impressions and his wrestling style earned him the nickname ‘The Phenom’. The Undertaker is best remembered for having one of the greatest streaks in Sports Entertainment history when he was undefeated in 21 matches at Wrestlemania, the grandest PPV in the WWE roster. When that streak was ended by Brocke Lesnar, it left millions of people in shock. Since that time, The Undertaker has made some sporadic appearances in the WWE and he teased retirement sometimes, leading to increased speculations.

In Wrestlemania earlier in the year, he clashed with AJ Styles in a unique Boneyard match that saw The Undertaker beat AJ Styles in an intense and entertaining match. However, after the end of the match, The Undertaker officially announced his retirement on a WWE documentary named ‘Undertaker: The Last Ride’. It meant that his cinematic match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania was his final fight in WWE. The WWE fans and critics still debate over the legitimacy of the retirement announcement and believe that the Undertaker might still have one more match in him and that it was another teaser.

The Undertaker’s real name is Mark William Calaway and was born on March 24, 1965. Calaway was rebranded as "The Undertaker" in the WWF, and gained significant mainstream popularity as a horror-themed, macabre entity who employed scare tactics and held links to the supernatural. The longest-tenured wrestler in company history at 30 years, The Undertaker was one of the most prominent figures of the Attitude Era, a boom period in the company's business in the latter 1990s. His character transitioned into a biker in the early 2000s, before returning to a refined version of his previous gimmick in 2004. The Undertaker is heavily associated with WWE's flagship annual event, WrestleMania. He is also known for his pairing with his in-storyline half-brother Kane, with whom he has alternatively feuded or teamed as The Brothers of Destruction since 1997. With Kane, he held the WWF and WCW World Tag Team Championships during The Invasion storyline.
