SEA Games: Naik appointed referee for Taekwondo event

International Referee, Angela Naik, Grandmaster 7th Dan, from Margao has been appointed to officiate in Taekwondo event as part of the 29th SEA Games, which are underway in Malaysia.

She is the only Indian invited to referee the Taekwondo event, which will be held from August 24-30, a media release said today.

Naik has refereed many WTF World Taekwondo Championships, Asian and Commonwealth Games and G1/G2 WTF International Taekwondo Opens, the release said.

She is also a Continental Referee with World Ju-Jitsu Federation(JJIF) and have refereed the Regional and Asian Ju-Jitsu championships, it added.
