Sania Mirza is not only used to shooting aces on the tennis court but also known for hiiting brilliant returns on Twitter as well. She always seems to have the perfect reply ready when somebody tries to target her on social media.

On Tuesday, she came up with a perfect response to a tweet from a troll that questioned her nationality and wished her a 'Happy Independence Day' on August 14.

Sania, one of India's most succesful tennis stars, tied the knot with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik in 2010.

With Pakistan celebrating its Independence Day on August 14, a user on Twitter wished the tennis star a 'Happy Independence Day' on Tuesday.

As usual, Sania was ready with a reply and destroyed the troll for his implicit comment.

She wrote in Hindi, "No, my country's and my Independence Day is tomorrow (August 15) and my husband and his country are celebrating today (August 14). Hope your confusion is cleared. When is yours, by the way - since you seem very confused?"

She also wished the people of Pakistan on their Independence Day.

However, it seems such trolling and bigotry is not limited to borders. Another user, who seemed to be from Pakistan, tried to question Sania's life choices and asked her to live in Pakistan. Sania was again bang on the mark in her reply.

This is not the first time Mirza has had to face unnecessary comments over her husband's nationality. Many had questioned her love for the country when she married Shoaib with social media still rife with trolls bringing up Pakistan in her posts.

She clarified on her relationship and that of the two countries recently.

“A lot of people have this notion that Shoaib and I got married to unite the two countries. That is not true. Whenever I have been to Pakistan – and I go once every year to meet my in laws – the love that I get there is immense... Just like when Shoaib comes here, and he gets the love and respect of our countrymen,” she said in the interview to a leading English daily.
