PV Sindhu lost to Carolina Marin in the final round of the BWF World Championships.
PV Sindhu lost to Carolina Marin in the final round of the BWF World Championships this week. It was another big loss for the Indian who has lost some big matches in her career including the Rio Olympics final against the same opponent.
This has prompted some to question her temperament and her ability to win big matches.
Now, Sindhu has hit back at these critics with a bold post on Instagram.
Sindhu said that she didn't lose the gold medal but won a second consecutive silver at the World Championships. She also said that she had complete faith that she will win the gold medal soon. She also thanked her team and sponsors.

PV Sindhu has lost in the finals of 2016 and 2017 Hong Kong Open, 2017 and 2018 World Championships, 2017 Super Series Finals, 2018 India Open and 2018 Thailand Open. She has won the 2016 Malaysia Masters, 2016 China Open, 2017 Syed Modi International, 2017 India Open and 2017 Korea Open tournaments in the last three years.
