President Kovind, PM Modi lead the nation in wishing Team India luck for FIFA U-17 World Cup

President Ram Nath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several others have extended their best wishes to Indian team ahead of their opening game against USA in the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Friday. President Kovind in his tweeted expressed his happiness at India hosting the FIFA World Cup. He extended his best wishes to all the teams specially our own boys. 

PM Modi, who will watch the team in action on Friday, tweeted, 'A warm welcome and best wishes to all teams taking part in the @FIFAcom. I am sure #FIFAU17WC will be a treat for football lovers.'

Former sports minister Vijay Goel also took to twitter to extend his wishes.

India's former football captain tweeted a special message to the boys with his family.

India's senior football players Sunil Chhetri and Sandesh Jhingan also tweeted their supports and best wishes.

Sachin Tendulkar and other cricketers also joined in wishing the Indian team the best of luck.
