Paris Saint-Germain close to signing Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez?

Apart from preparing a possible record deal of €222 million for Barcelona's Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain are also getting ready to lure in Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez at an opening offer of €45 million.

According to a report in the Guardian, PSG's sporting director Antero Henrique spent Friday afternoon with Sanchez and his agent Fernando Felicevich fleshing out the terms of agreement regarding the move.

The report also said that getting Sanchez should not be very difficult for the French side since Nasser al Khelaifi, the PSG chairman, shares a good rapport with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

Sanchez is adamant on playing in the Champions League next season therefore attempts from Arsenal to keep him at the Emirates Stadium through his contract for next year will have to be stronger. The report in the daily said that in such scenario, PSG may increase the offer up to €50 million.
