Zlatan Ibrahimovic who is known to be outspoken has now Cristiano Ronaldo on his radar. The former Manchester United striker has criticised Ronaldo for his revelation of leaving Real Madrid for Juventus stating he loves 'challenges'. The PSG legend also called out the Juventus player for his remarks on Lionel Messi.

The Portugal star who moved to Juventus had recently challenged Messi to leave Barcelona and move to Serie A.

"I've played in England, Spain, Italy, Portugal and for my national team, while he's still in Spain," said Ronaldo. "Maybe he needs me more. For me, life is a challenge. I like it and I like to make people happy."

However, this statement did not go down well with Zlatan and he slammed Ronaldo by saying that he had taken the easy way out by joining a club that used to winning everything.

"Ronaldo talks about challenges but he decided to go to a club who have been winning the Serie A title with their eyes closed. Why did he not choose a club from a second division a few years ago? “Try to become a champion with such a second-division champion and lead them to the highest level, which is a challenge.”

Ibrahimovic, who is currently plying his trade at MLS club La Galaxy, added saying, “It is bulls***, moving to Juventus is not a challenge at all.”

Messi had earlier replied back to his rival's challenge saying, "Accepting Ronaldo's challenge to join Italian football? I don't need any change. I'm at the best team in the world. My challenges are renewed year after year. I do not need to change teams or leagues to set new goals. I am at home and I do not need to change. The rivalry with Cristiano was very healthy and good for the fans."

Since moving to Serie A, Ronaldo has scored 17 goals and made 7 assists in 23 appearances for the club. While Messi, ended 2018 with 51 goals, two more than Ronaldo's tally.
