Indian Judokas grabbed the limelight by clinching three bronze and one gold medal at the 2017 Youth Commonwealth Games held in Bahamas which also saw Judokas from Australia, Scotland and Zambia finish on top of the podium.

Soni from India won a gold medal after defeating Nikolic by 1-0 in the 73 kg-weight category. Following him was a bronze medal won by Ashish who defeated Zain of England 10-0 in the 60 kg-weight category.

In the girls? category, the Indian girls stood out clinching on two bronze medals at the event. Antim Yadav won bronze after defeating Russell Jasmine by 2-0 in the 48 kg- weight category.

Chanam Rebina Devi was another name that grabbed the bronze medal in the 57 kg-weight category after defeating Saskia.
