India's Karamjyoti Dalal bags bronze at World Para Athletics Championships

Discus-thrower Karamjyoti Dalal took India's medal tally to three after bagging a bronze at ongoing World Para Athletics Championships 2017.

According to a report in Times of India, Dalal threw the discus at the distance of 19.02 metres defeating Baharain's Alomari Roba who managed 19.01 metres in F-55 category.

Apart from Dalal, Sundar Singh Gurjar clinched gold for India in the Men's javelin throw event. Followed by Amit Saroha who won silver medal in the club throw event in the F-51 catetgory.Sundar Singh Gurjar clinched gold for India in the Men's javelin throw event. Dalal couldn't do her best in 2016's Rio Paralympics. But the 30-year-old made a strong comeback at Fazaa International IPC Athletics Grand Prix in Dubai earlier in March by winning gold medal in the same category.
