WWE legend The Undertaker, who for all these years has stayed shy of social media, finally made his debut on Instagram.

The account was created on May 29, but a number of people weren’t sure whether it was actually an official page of The Deadman, given his reluctance to break character from his professional wrestling gimmick. There are several fan pages dedicated to The Undertaker, with some even pretending to be the Dead Man, but this is the first official such page.

However, the Undertaker’s wife Michelle McCool put an end to all speculations. In reposting Taker’s latest Insta to her own, the former Divas Champ says that’s her man finding his way through the social media world. “YES, y’all....THIS is official! My man @undertaker is officially on IG & this is his ONLY account! Sit back & enjoy the ride,” she posted.

The Undertaker has since his Instagram debut garnered over a million followers and has posted three images – one of which is part of a concert he attended.

Notably, the Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Callaway, made his WWE debut in 1991’s Survivor Series. He is currently the oldest serving professional wrestler in Vince McMahon’s company and didn’t even drift away to WCW during the epic Monday Night Wars in the late 1990s.

The Undertaker has participated in 26 Wrestlemania events, which is considered the biggest professional wrestling gig in the world. Of those 26 appearances, he has won 24 bouts and lost 2. The streak is considered one of the greatest achievements in professional wrestling history. In his last match at Wrestlemania, he defeated WWE legend-turned actor John Cena in less than two minutes, in a match that was criticised by fans for its poor storyline, and horrible match.

The Phenom had undergone hip replacement surgery last year, but WWE announced that fans would see The Undertaker participate in more events in 2018 versus the 2017.
